The Northumberland Estates represents the business interests of the Duke of Northumberland.

The Percy family have owned Alnwick Castle and surrounding lands since 1309. In order to ensure the continued upkeep of this heritage, the business has undergone significant change in recent years.

Today the core of the business focuses on property development, management and investment. The Estate owns an international property portfolio although this centres on the North East of England where we are based. Tourism is another important contributor.

The Northumberland Estates is proud to support the Alnwick Food Festival.

Many thanks to Ben Keenan, of Outlook, Alnwick, for supplying and constructing the kitchen which will be used for cookery demonstrations in the Northumberland Hall.

Outlook Home Enhancement Centre is a fitted kitchen and bathroom supplier.

Laithwaite's Wine started in 1969, when a young Tony Laithwaite drove a van filled with wine, from Bordeaux to the UK, hoping to share his excitement at tasting delicious, authentic, locally-bottled wines. 45 years later Laithwaite's Wine is still an independent run by Tony and Barbara Laithwaite and their family -  a traditional wine merchant that currently holds a wide range of over 1,400 wines.

We specialize in home delivery and with our personal service have a over 20,000 customers in the north east. Laithwaites will be at the Festival this year, you can try some of our wines, and purchase a few bottles to take home too!

Silver Sponsor

R. Turnbull & Sons is Alnwick's longest established independent family butcher and greengrocer and is one of the town's oldest businesses. The shop was founded by Roger Turnbull in 1880 and is now run by Mark Turnbull, his great-great-grandson. In the late 1970s a neighbouring drapery shop, Pitts, was acquired, allowing Turnbull's to double the size of the premises, and split between a butcher's and greengrocer's.
