Food festival 2010 gets facelift
|
The Alnwick Food Festival has been rescued after the Alnwick Lions Club decided they could no longer organise the event after five years at the helm.
The Lions cooked up the concept and held five very successful festivals providing a feast of entertainment and giving local food producers a showcase for their wares.
Now, an equally enthusiastic committee has taken over the reinsand hopes to continue the good work with the help of the other voluntary organisations in the town and the support of Lions.
